River Arts will present a new Members’ Show from May 27 through June 5, and the deadline for submissions is May 24.

All current and new members are invited to submit one piece for this non-juried exhibition. The Members’ Show celebrates the talent of River Arts’ member artists and showcases the wide range of art being created in Maine. River Arts welcomes all media, including but not limited to painting, sculpture, fiber, photography, ceramics, original printmaking, drawing, encaustic and pastel. Works may be representational or abstract. The Members’ Show offers an opportunity for artists to submit work that best represents their personal style.

This salon-style show requires a limit of 30 inches in any direction including frame. Works may be delivered to the gallery during regular hours until the 4 p.m. deadline on Saturday. There is a $15 hanging fee. River Arts annual membership is $60 for individuals or $90 for a household. Current and new members are eligible for entry. All submitted works must be for sale, and River Arts retains a 35% commission on sold works. Submission forms are available in the gallery or online at riverartsme.org.
