Joseph Paolino Jr.
WINDHAM – Joseph Paolino Jr., 76, passed away on March 5, 2025, after a courageous battle with cancer.
He was born in Portland, graduated from Portland High School, attended Southern Maine Community College, and served in the National Guard.
He worked for 19 years at United Parcel Service and loved delivering the rural routes. He was a gifted contractor and started his own construction company, J & E Builders, where he built homes for many families.
Hunting season was his favorite time of year; he was an avid hunter with rifle, shotgun, and bow. Joe was a skilled negotiator, and enjoyed “wheeling and dealing” cars, which he did throughout his life.
He was predeceased by his parents, Joseph Paolino Sr. and Shirley Newcomb; his wife, Lori Kerschbaum Paolino; and his brother, Michael Paolino.
He is survived by his sisters Donna Kelsen and Mary Sue Thompson and husband Butch, sister-in-law, Kerry Paolino; son, Joseph Paolino and wife Rolande, daughter, Kristine Paolino Taylor and husband Keith; first wife, Linda Paolino Naylon; and a stepson, Evan Kerschbaum and wife Victoria.
Joe will be profoundly missed by his family and friends.
