Ronald E. Weeman
BUXTON – Ronald E. Weeman of Buxton, passed away on March 6, 2025, after a brief illness.
He was born in Saco on July 6, 1944, to Elmer and Sarah (Waterhouse) Weeman. He graduated from Bonney Eagle High School in 1962. He married the love of his life, Betty Ann Moulton on Nov. 24, 2000. He enlisted in the army in 1965 and was stationed in Vietnam.
He worked at Rogers Fiber for about 15 years until they closed. He then worked at USM for 21 years until he retired in 2010.
He was superintendent of Woodlawn Cemetery in Buxton. He was a member of Buxton Centre Baptist Church his whole life. He worked as a volunteer at the Buxton Center Food co-op for several years. He and Betty Ann were honored in the 2016/2017 Buxton Town Report for their life-long service to the community in so many ways.
Ronald is survived by his wife, Betty Ann; his sister, Linda Scribner of Greene; his daughter, Malena Rachelle and partner Sara Kanter of Lenox, Mass., and daughter, Melody Darden and husband DJ of Canton, Ga.; grandchildren, Steven Harmon and wife Kaitlynn, Paige Dion and husband Josh, Tyler Dicks, Alyssa Kenney, Daniel Kenney, Athena Harmon, Pat Harmon, Aaron Wilbur, Liam Kanter and Logan Kanter; great-grandchildren, Zephyr Merle Harmon and Catalina Darden; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of his life will be held on Sunday March 9, at 2 p.m. at Buxton Centre Baptist Church, 938 Long Plains Rd., Buxton.
