It’s been 16 months since the horrifying shooting in Lewiston. How long will this newspaper continue to mine that tragic event for subject matter to write about? Can we not turn the page and move on with more recent events?
It’s beginning to seem exploitative, this constant stream of articles about the mass killing. We all know about it; we were here when it happened. Do we really need to come back to it again and again and again? This is not to minimize the loss of life and the hardships of those directly affected by the killings. But is it not time to move past it, at last?
