Brunswick-based Reverie Coffee House opened a second location on Wednesday, this one in Bath. The new venue is in the lobby of a mixed-used building at 9 Park Street.
At 1,500-square-feet, with room to seat 22, the Bath location has three times as much floor space as the Brunswick shop — launched just over a year ago — and can seat twice as many customers, according to Reverie owner Hannah Josselyn. The Bath venue has outdoor seating available in warmer months as well.
The Bath shop has a gated kids’ play area, with seating for parents. As in Brunswick, the Reverie Coffee House in Bath includes a retail market that features items from local producers and artists such as tea blends, body care products and pottery.
Reverie Coffee House serves a full line of coffee and espresso beverages as well as seasonal lattes, using coffee from Milkweed Coffee Roasters in Buxton. To eat, customers can choose among such locally baked goods as muffins, scones, cheesecakes and pies. This spring, the shop plans to add a cooler stocked with grab-and-go foods, including sandwiches and rice bowls.
Reverie in Bath is open seven days a week, from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m.
