Cheryl Cook
OTISFIELD – Cheryl Cook passed away at her home in Otisfield on Sept. 21, 2024 surrounded by loved ones after a courageous battle with cancer.
Cheryl was born on June 25, 1953 in Portland. The third of five children born to Robinson and Barbara (Hiller) Cook Jr. Cheryl graduated from Cape Elizabeth schools and from Westbrook College with Medical Assistant, Associates degree in Science.
Cheryl loved the outdoors, all wild life and her passion was photography.
Cheryl was predeceased by her longtime partner, Don Johnson; her parents Robinson Cook Jr. and Barbara (Hiller) Winslow; and her oldest brother, Robinson Cook III.
Cheryl is survived by her brothers John and wife Tina Cook of Raymond; Timothy Cook Sr. and his son Timothy Jr. of Brunswick; sister, Marie (Cook) Bowden and husband James Sr. of Otisfield, her two children James Bowden Jr. of Oxford and Kristina (Bowden) Neal of Naples; several grandnieces and nephew.
There will be a private burial in Otisfield.
