We have a generational choice in the presidential election on Nov. 5 between two very different ways to live in the world as our society inevitably evolves and new problems arise.
Problems with inflation, industrial job loss and immigration are societal problems we all need to tackle together, rather than blaming the other political party. One candidate would optimistically tackle these problems for the benefit of all while the other candidate sees the world darkly as conspiratorial by some of us against his supporters and himself personally. One candidate seeks power to enhance good governance while the other seeks power to control perceived enemies. One candidate acknowledges that science pursues truth, and that change happens, such as the climate crisis, who would respond appropriately, recognizing and respecting truth, while the other candidate denies science if it contains inconvenient truths.
So let’s make the right choice for our future – the Harris/Walz choice.
