I would urge anyone who is thinking about voting for Donald Trump in November to become familiar with the Project 2025 platform that is being developed by far right extremists. Some of the highlights of the project are abolishing the Department of Education, transforming the FBI into a political taskforce, and removing the independence of the Department of Justice by firing up to 20,000 career employees of the department. It goes on from there and, aided by the recent Supreme Court decision, would radically transform the way our system of government operates. It becomes a government made up of Trump loyalists who would be yes men to the president

If this philosophy of government goes into effect, we will be going down a real slippery slope that could lead us into a dangerous place. Voters should listen carefully to what Donald Trump says and read this document. Do they want this country transformed from a democracy to autocracy? It would be something that might not be easily reversed, and we would be left with unchecked retributions, a loss of many of our rights, and the deterioration of the values and principles our country has always stood for.
