Thank you for including the May 30 opinion piece from Tony Payne of North Yarmouth. The article succinctly presents some of the disarray in the current Republican Party. The article began with “all tyranny needs to gain a foothold is for people of good conscience to remain silent.”

Although politically reticent, I do not intend to be silent.
