Roy P. Pelletier

HARRISON – Roy “Butch” Pelletier, 75, passed away on May 6, 2023 in Harrison, Maine.

He was born on Feb. 2, 1948, in Portland, Maine, to Mary B. Graffam and Malcolm R. Pelletier. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Paul Pelletier and stepson Chris Spearrin.

Roy is survived by his wife of 31 years, Linda Pelletier, sister Gloria Pelletier, brother Allen Pelletier, nephew Scott Pelletier, son Lance Pelletier, daughter Stacey Pelletier, stepson John Spearrin, stepson Scott Spearrin and grandchildren Emily, Hunter, Brooke, Scott, Trey, Taylor, Walker, Hannah, Maggie, Nick and Mei. Roy was a graduate of Windham High School. He served in the Navy for two years. He then worked at Sappi paper mill for 40 years.

Roy had a love for the wilderness and all outdoor sports, especially bow hunting and fishing. His generosity and his happy easy going personality made it easy for him to be liked and loved by everyone who met him.

A celebration of life is to take place on June 11, 2023 from 1:30-4:30 p.m., at the American Legion Post 155, 26 Casco Road, Naples, Maine 04055.

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society.
