Richard “Dick” Kenneth Bartlett

PORTLAND – Richard “Dick” Kenneth Bartlett, 84, passed away peacefully after a brief illness on Wednesday, May 3, 2023 at Seaside Rehabilitation Center in Portland.

Dick was born in Lewiston on July 15, 1938, the son of Kenneth and Iva (Stevens) Bartlett.

In 1962, he married the love of his life, Carol Ann Scheublin, and together they had a son, Jeffrey Bartlett who was the light of his life.

Dick worked primarily in the banking and insurance industries, and was also a police officer which was his favorite job.

He enjoyed time with family and friends, the New York Giants, Red Sox and his favorite cigars. He always brought a smile with his quick wit and humor.

Dick is survived by his wife, Carol; his son, Jeffrey; and a loving family.

A Celebration of Life will take place later this summer.
