Barbara Jean Crockett

PORTLAND – Barbara Jean Crockett, 61, of Portland, passed away on April 28, 2023, surrounded by her family at the Gosnell Memorial Hospice House.

She was predeceased by her mother, Cyrita Ann Moore, her father, OscarDale Moore Sr.; her two brothers Oscar Dale Moore Jr. and Alfred William Moore; and niece Kathy Ann Haycock.

Barbara leaves behind her sisters, Cheryl Forest and life partner Melvin Gammon of Limington, Theresa Haycock and husband Walter Haycock of Brunswick, Louise Shaw and husband Edward Shaw of Standish. She is also survived by her two adult sons, Kenneth Moore Jr. of Manchester, NH and Jason Bull of Old Town, and daughter, Jessica Bowley; granddaughter Kianna Shaw and grandson Kenneth Moore III; along with many nieces, nephews; and dearest friends Mary Sacco, Laurie Saco, and Karen Norberg.

Visiting hours will be held Friday, May 5, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Woodfords Congregational Church, 202 Woodford Street, Portland and graveside service to follow directly after at Brooklawn Memorial Park, 2002 Congress Street, Portland.
