Theresa L. Dubois

BIDDEFORD – Theresa L. Dubois, of Biddeford, passed away on Thursday, Nov. 10, 2022, at Sedgewood Commons. The daughter of the late Adelard and Alice (MacDonald) Ledoux, she was born on July 11, 1935, in Biddeford. She was educated in Biddeford Schools and graduated from Biddeford High School in 1953.

Theresa began her working career at West Point Pepperell, Inc. in Biddeford, ME, where she worked for 14 years. She then worked for the Biddeford Saco Chamber of Commerce for 17 years. She also spent 18 years working for Pepperell Trust Company as a bookkeeper, retiring in 2012.

Theresa was a member of St. Mary’s Church in Biddeford and then a member of St. Joseph’s Church. On Feb. 6, 1960, Theresa married the love of her life, Armand Dubois. They were married for 40 years and had one son, Armand Dubois Jr.

Theresa was a member of TOPS for 25 years. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting, and playing cards with friends and aunts and uncles. She especially loved spending the summer months at Barker’s Pond.

Theresa was predeceased by her parents; her husband, Armand; and her sister, Jeannette Lassonde. She is survived by her son, Armand Dubois, Jr. and wife Jessica; and several nieces and nephews. 

Family and friends may visit Wednesday, Nov. 16, 2022, from 6-8 p.m., at Hope Memorial Chapel, 480 Elm St, Biddeford, Maine 04005. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, Nov. 17, 2022 at 11 a.m., at St. Joseph Church, 178 Elm St., Biddeford, with burial following at St. Joseph Cemetery, 120 West St., Biddeford. Arrangements are by Hope Memorial Chapel.
