Mason J. Warren

Mason J. Warren 2001 – 2022 HARPSWELL – Mason J. Warren, 21, of the Harpswell Island Road, died Monday Oct. 31, 2022, as a result of a tragic accident on his way to do the job that he loved, lobstering on the beautiful waters of Casco Bay. Mason was born on June 10, 2001, the son of Nicole Walker and Joe Warren. Mason and Nicole moved to Harpswell and in with Mason’s bonus father, Seth Walker, just before Mason started kindergarten. Nicole and Seth fully immersed Mason in the community where he enjoyed being part of the local Boy Scout Troop pack 642, playing baseball, working his way to a purple belt in karate and skiing the mountains of Maine. Mason spent countless hours helping his community with Shore Dinners and other community events. He was always the first person to step up and lend a hand to anyone in need. Mason was working to build his own lobstering business while also working as a stern man for Mike Cota during the summers and scalloping during the spring with his “brother” Josh Saxton. Mason was a devoted brother who shared a special bond with his sister, Jessica. After moving out on his own two years ago he would always make the time to share his day with her whether he was out on the water or jamming out to his favorite tunes. Mason spent the last year of his life raising his fur baby, Waylon, and growing into the kind, selfless man that he was. In addition to his loving family Mason is survived by his grandparents Linda Furbish and Paul Warren of Topsham and Ben and Linda Walker of Bowdoin; as well as many aunts, unclesl cousins; and friends who were always loved like family. Arrangements are by Stetson’s Funeral Home, 12 Federal St., Brunswick where condolences, memories, and photos may be shared with the family at http://www.stetsonsfuneralhome.com
