Frank J. Deluca

WINDHAM – Frank J. Deluca, 84, a remarkable, honorable, dedicated, hardworking family man, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Aug. 18, 2022 at their home in Windham. Frank J. DeLuca was taken to his heavenly home after a lengthy illness.

He married Sandra Shain, June 30, 1962, after meeting in Providence R.I. This young man from Allison Park, Pennsylvania met his future wife from Hallowell, at the capitol building in Providence, R.I., a God planned meeting.

Frank was a Navy veteran, serving 1957-1961. After his service, Frank returned to Pittsburgh, Pa. area for three years. Frank moved to Maine and went to meat cutting school, working in the Calais, Rumford, and Portland Maine areas while settling in Windham where he lived with his family for 52 years, until his death. A man of caring and dedication to his family, community, and profession. He was also involved in Windham sports from coaching his kids to watching his grandchildren.

Frank leaves behind his loving wife, Sandra, of 60 years; his daughter, Amy Hanrahan and her husband Tom, sons Tim and his wife Shelly, Dan and his wife Kathy, Jon and fiancé Jodie Kennerson, daughter, Debby and her husband Andy Walsh; grandchildren Adam and Derek Hanrahan, Andrew Edes, Dominic, Emily and Eric DeLuca, Lauren DeLuca, Olivia Dworak, Norah Walsh; great-grandchildren Lincoln Hanrahan, Liam and Raegan Hanrahan, Roman and Ellis DeLuca; and many nieces and nephews. He also leaves behind a sister, Camilla Giel and brother, Conrad from Pittsburgh Pa.

Visiting hours will be held on Thursday, Aug. 25 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Dolby, Blais, Segee Funeral Home, 434 River Rd., Windham.
