
SPRINGVALE – La Famille LeBlanc returns to Springvale to perform traditional Franco-American Music at the Sanford-Springvale Historical Museum on Saturday evening, July 13 at 7:30 p.m.
This will be the second appearance of this family group in the Sanford-Springvale area. It has been performing since 1986, first in New Hampshire, and since 1989 in Maine. The historical society is pleased to present music once again that represents so many of the families who contributed to the history of Sanford and Springvale and nearby communities. Those who wish to attend should purchase or reserve their tickets in advance. Last year’s performance was sold out.
The performance takes place at 7:30 p.m.,, Saturday, July 13 (doors open at 6:45 p.m.) at the Historical Museum, 505 Main St., Springvale. The price is $15 for people 18 and older and free for those under 18, but their seats must be reserved. For reservations, call 324 2797. Tickets may be purchased in advance at the Historical Museum from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Fridays and 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturdays. The Museum is air conditioned and handicapped accessible.
