SHAPLEIGH — On Tuesday morning, at about 7:20 a.m., York County Sheriff deputies responded to a one-vehicle crash on Route 11 in Shapleigh.
The driver, Danielle Gravel, 39, of Shapleigh, lost control of her 2006 Toyota SUV on Route 11 due to the icy conditions on the roadway, according to the Sheriff’s Office.
Both Gravel and her teenage passenger were transported to Southern Maine Health Care in Sanford for treatment of minor injuries, said Sheriff William L. King Jr.
Traffic on Route 11 was interrupted for about 30 minutes while road crews salted and sanded the roadway, he said.
