Portland, Clifford H. Washburn Sr., 70, died Wednesday March 6, 2019 in Portland. Clifford was born April 27, 1948 in Brunswick to Ernest E. and Marion B. (Jordan) Washburn. He served four years in the United States Air Force as a firefighter and had worked many years in his families business Washburn Lumber Company. Clifford loved to joke around always keeping a smile on everyone’s face, he is now with his family in heaven. He was predeceased by his parents, sisters Dorothy Schmidt, and Jean Tate, brothers David and Richard Washburn and a son Michael Washburn. Clifford is survived a sister Judy Ballard, his children, Clifford Washburn Jr., Victoria Hibbard, Alice Cromwell and Shawn Washburn, his girlfriend of 22 years, Cynthia Murray, his right hand man, Henry Schmidt, 8 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews. A memorial Service will be held at 11:00AM Tuesday March 12th at the East Brunswick Baptist Church.
