SACO — The body of a Saco man reported missing has been found by the Maine Warden Service.
Saco Deputy Police Chief Jack Clements said Thursday afternoon that Dennis Perrault, 71, of Saco, was found deceased by the Maine Warden Service.
The Saco Police Department had issued a notice that morning that Perrault was reported missing. Perrault left Saco on Oct. 26 to go hunting in the Allagash region of northern Maine, according to police.
Although he gave no specific timeline for his trip, family members thought he’d be back home by Nov. 2, said police. Perrault has a medical condition and only took with him enough medication for one week, said police.
Perrault’s dark green Chevrolet Silverado crew-cab 1500 series pickup truck, bearing Maine Support Wildlife license plate Z71ME and has an American Flag window decal with a jet in the center had last been seen exiting the St. Francis checkpoint gate of the North Maine Woods on Oct. 30.
The Maine Warden Service in Houlton assisted with the investigation.
