The 15th Rock & Roll Oldies dance on Oct. 13 at the Eagle’s Hall in Biddeford was sold out and helped raise thousands to benefit the Ronald McDonald House of Portland. BIDDEFORD — Friends got together and staged the 15th  Rock & Roll Oldies dance on Oct. 13 at the Eagle’s Hall in Biddeford and once again, the event was a resounding success that benefited the Ronald McDonald House of Portland.

The event was sold out again with 300 tickets sold in 14 days.  This time organizers had to refuse 81 people wanting tickets.

The group stages two dances each year and the October dance grossed $8,292.00. To date, these dances have raised more than $56,398 for the Ronald McDonald House.

Through the generosity of those that donated, the October dance had a total of 125 door prizes.

The Eagle’s Hall  has already been booked for the next dance, which is set for 7 p.m. to midnight on March 23, 2019 .

Music will be Rock n’ Roll from the 50’s, 60’s, 70’s, 80’s with videos provided by OLDIES ‘R’ US !

Tickets are still $10 per person and tickets sell out fast.
