SANFORD — Police on Tuesday said they have no suspects relating to an act of vandalism on Nottingham Drive in Sanford.
The white Cape Cod-style home in south Sanford has been under renovation. Sometime between Sept. 1 and 2, a vandal or vandals took a spray can of red paint and applied it on the white vinyl siding. The paint was sprayed in sweeping arcs on at least three sides of the home.
Sanford Police have put the word out they are looking for the public’s help in identifying the individual(s) responsible for the vandalism.
Deputy Police Chief Tim Strout said the house was not occupied while the owner conducts renovations.
Anyone with information is asked to call the Sanford Police tip line at 324-3644 and follow the prompts.
