KENNEBUNK — On Saturday, July 7 at 3 p.m., Christ Church, 6 Dane St. in Kennebunk will present a concert of patriotic music along with a Make-your-Own Ice Cream Sundae bar featuring locally-made ice cream from Shain’s of Maine.

Christ Church Music Director “Maestro” Warren King has gathered some of the finest musicians and singers in the area to perform a varied program of patriotic music, with opportunities to sing along. The songs will include old favorites as well as some less well known researched by the maestro.

Performing with the maestro will be piccolo virtuoso Diana McNulty, professional reeds musician Jack Kupp, and highly regarded vocalists Alex Pratt, and Owen and Schuyler White, as well as three generations of the Christ Church family and members of Seaglass Chorale ,Beverly Heald, her daughter Jennifer Heald-Clapp, and her daughter Kayla Clapp.

A suggested donation for the concert is $15, or $12 for seniors and students; children under 12 are welcome at no charge.  Proceeds will benefit the missions of Christ Church, supporting the homeless, the hungry, needy children, battered women, refugees, addiction recovery, and disaster relief.  The church cannot process credit cards, so please bring cash or checks.

Christ Church is handicap-accessible from the parking lot behind Town Hall, and also has a parking lot across Dane Street.
