The 4th annual Freedom 5 K Run will be taking take place on Monday, July 30, near the ocean in Old Orchard Beach, Maine.
All proceeds will benefit the Army’s southern Maine anti-human trafficking program The Well.
The course offers the opportunity for runners to record personal best times as it is a fairly fast course with winning times from the last three runs ranging from 16.52 minutes to 17.38 minutes.

The entry fee is $25 when made online, or $30 when registering in person before July 28 at The Salvation Army’s Pavilion, 8 Sixth Street, Old Orchard Beach, ME.
On the day registration is also $30 and can be made right up till 6.45 a.m. on event day at the starting point at Old Orchard Beach High School, 40 Emerson Cummings Blvd.
