BATH
Bath has a long history of quality complementary and integrative health care practices and Riverside Healing Center is excited to join the team.
Dr. Carrie Werner, a naturopathic doctor and midwife, and Melanie Clarke, a reflexologist and reiki practitioner, have been working individually in the health care field for over a decade and wanted to provide a space where people could have their stories heard and receive the care they deserve to assist them on their road to optimal wellness.
“We feel blessed to have found a space with a healing view of the river that is so close to other wellness modalities. We are literally right behind Ebb and Flow Yoga and just down the road from Dayspring Integrative Wellness. There is so much great healthcare support in Bath and we’re excited to be a part of it,” said Werner.
Werner is the only naturopathic doctor and home-birth midwife in Bath and she believes this will provide a much-needed addition to the city and surrounding areas. As a naturopathic doctor, Werner emphasizes prevention, treatment, and optimal health through the use of therapeutic methods and substances that encourage individuals’ inherent self-healing process. She sees patients of all sizes, from newborns to the older generations, providing care for Lyme disease, fertility and pregnancy, autoimmune conditions and much more, in addition to providing wellness exams and holistic pediatrics.
Care by Clarke
Clarke’s training in Reflexology in Australia provided her with a combination of western and Asian styles that allows her to intuitively find areas of stress and tension in the feet, hands, and ears which she helps to release with different tactile techniques. Clarke integrates reiki and feet reading, the idea that your feet reflect your perception of yourself, into her reflexology sessions which provides clients with a relaxing and stress-relieving experience.
“There is so much stress and tension in our daily lives and we all need some support to help release and ground. Reflexology is an amazing tool for this,” said Clarke.
