
He was a member of Our Lady of Nazareth Catholic Church. Lucien was a member of the Knights of Columbus, where he was a Grand Knight of 3rd Degree, Faithful Navigator 4th Degree and served as District Deputy. He worked as a Machinist Mechanic for Saco-Lowell and as a salesman at Coats and Clark.
Lucien was preceded in death by his wife, Therese B. Metayer.
He is survived by his son, Lucien L. Metayer, Jr.; grandchildren, Eve Barker, Wayne Metayer; great-grandchildren, Elizabeth Metayer, Rachel Barker, Cody Barker, Noah Metayer, Abigal Metayer.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, May 5, 2018, at Our Lady of Nazereth Catholic Church with the Rev. Msgr. Joseph P. Lehman officiating. www.oakeys.com
