Center for Diagnostic Imaging has opened a new outpatient-based advanced diagnostic imaging center in Brunswick, expanding its network of high quality, high value imaging centers throughout New England.

The Brunswick center provides a full-range of services that feature a high-field MRI, CT and X-ray.

“When a patient’s health is in question, we provide the answers they need with the highest-quality and most cost-effective medical imaging care and services,” said Scott Raymond, CDI senior vice president and general manager. “We are excited about the opportunity to expand our services in our community.”

The new high-field MRI provides more powerful and faster scans with a stronger signal to capture higher quality images. It is also an open scanner that provides 270 degrees of unobstructed views so that patients can easily see out of the machine, creating a more comfortable experience and better quality images for patients of all sizes and those who may be claustrophobic.

“The high-field open MRI allows us to capture clear, high-quality images and provides referring physicians the diagnostic information they need to provide the best care possible,” said Dr. Brian Livingston, CDI medical director. “Combined with our CT and X-ray services, patients now have access to a variety of imaging services to meet their needs.”

The Brunswick location expands the CDI network of outpatient imaging centers that includes nine centers in Maine as well as centers in Massachusetts, New Hampshire and Connecticut.
