The Westbrook American reported on Feb. 26, 1958, that William A. Costas of Bridge Street in Westbrook received a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Illinois in mid-year graduation ceremonies.

Mr. and Mrs. Fred Davis of West Buxton left for a 30-day vacation in Florida. He was a rural letter carrier.
