NEWCASTLE — A relatively new member to the Newcastle Realty team of professional real estate brokers, Carmen Reed’s enthusiasm and passion for helping people makes her a great fit with the firm.
One of the things Reed likes most about helping people buy and sell a home or land, is the process of getting to know each person’s story and working through all the steps involved in making such an important life decision.
Reed chose to join Newcastle Realty because they are locally owned and committed to supporting the surrounding communities. She recognized that company owner Dennis Hilton and his team of professional agents have created a number of cutting edge services to offer clients.
A native of Wiscasset, Reed lives in Nobleboro with her husband, Michael Prentice, and their three sons, where they also operate Bayside
Plumbing and Heating. Having previously served as executive director of the Damariscotta Region Chamber of Commerce, Reed has always loved being involved in her communities and sharing her passion for the local area with others.
Contact Reed at Newcastle Realty’s office, at 87 Main St. in Damariscotta, by calling (207) 563-1003.

We believe it's important to offer commenting on certain stories as a benefit to our readers. At its best, our comments sections can be a productive platform for readers to engage with our journalism, offer thoughts on coverage and issues, and drive conversation in a respectful, solutions-based way. It's a form of open discourse that can be useful to our community, public officials, journalists and others.
We do not enable comments on everything — exceptions include most crime stories, and coverage involving personal tragedy or sensitive issues that invite personal attacks instead of thoughtful discussion.
