BATH — Glenn Hutchinson, Bath Savings president and CEO, has announced key changes to the bank’s board of trustees.
Bath resident John Voorhees was recently elected chairman. Voorhees has served on the bank’s board since 2009. He fills the position created upon the retirement of former chairman, Brian Perkins. Esther Pappas was elected vice chairwoman.
Voorhees is the judge of probate for Sagadahoc County and maintains his private law practice in Bath. He graduated from Cheverus High School, received an A.B. from Bowdoin College, and earned his law degree from Franklin Pierce Law Center.
Hutchinson said, “We are fortunate to have John Voorhees’ leadership, knowledge and strong commitment to the community to guide this institution.”
Hutchinson also announced the election of trustee Erik Hayward.
“We are delighted to have Erik Hayward join Bath Savings’ board of trustees. His strong financial background and commitment to our region will add to the strength we already have on our board,” said Hutchinson.
