SANFORD — A man arrested back in April after a tipster turned him into police was arrested  again Saturday on 19 charges, ranging from drug possession to being a fugitive from justice.

Bryan Douglass Farr-Luciano, 22, of Dover, New Hampshire, was taken into custody by Sanford Police just before 11 a.m. Saturday during a police stop on Main Street.

Farr-Luciano was initially arrested in Sanford back in April, after police put out the word  on social media that they were looking for him. Wanted on warrants and for failure to pay fines at the time, police had come close to apprehending him, but he proved elusive — until officers decided to be a little playful on Facebook and offered an all expense paid lunch — not to exceed $20 —  to someone willing to provide information to his whereabouts.

Someone did and Farr-Luciano was taken into custody. He was given time to pay fines and waived extradition to New Hampshire.

But by Saturday, he was back in Maine.

This time, he was arrested at a traffic stop.

Det. Sgt. Matthew Jones said Officer Jared Archambault saw Farr-Luciano and knew he was not supposed to be driving and pulled him over.

He faces charges of five counts of unlawful possession of scheduled drugs, operating without a license, operating after revocation, being a fugitive from justice, possession of drug paraphernalia and nine counts of violating conditions of release, and failure to stop for an officer. Many of the charges stem from warrants, Jones said.

Farr-Luciano appeared in court via video from York County jail on Monday. A jail corrections officer said he is held on $1,000 bail on the drug charges and $1,000 bail on the operating after revocation charge. As well, he is being held as a fugitive from justice from New Hampshire.
