SACO — The Saco & Biddeford Savings Institution recently elected Morris Fisher, CPA, as a board member at its September meeting.

“We are pleased to welcome Morris to the board of Saco and Biddeford Savings,” said Bob Quentin, president and CEO of SBSI. “Morris has a strong connection to the community and a vast amount of business experience that will be a great asset to our board.”

Fisher, of Cumberland, is president of CBRE | Boulos Asset Management in Portland, Maine, where he has worked for more than 25 years. Prior to joining CBRE | Boulos, Fisher worked as a senior accountant with KPMG Peat Marwick.

Fisher is active in the community, serving on the Board of Trustees at Maine Medical Center and Pineland Farms, Inc. He was previously an officer and member of the board of Portland Public Library, The Park Danforth, Catholic Charities of Maine and the Portland Downtown District.

“Saco and Biddeford Savings continues to strengthen its position in the banking industry by serving local businesses and community members at the highest level,” said Fisher. “I am proud to join SBSI and I look forward to helping support their growth across southern Maine.”

Fisher received his Bachelor’s degree in accounting at Bentley University. He is a certified public accountant in Maine.
