PORTLAND — The Thornton Academy field hockey team shut out host Portland 6-0 in its season opener on Wednesday evening.
Taylor Ouellette led the way for the Trojans, recording four goals on the day. Grace Harbor and Claire Decker would also score for TA.
Cat Henaire finished the day with two assists, while Harbor added another in the second half. Goalie Jenica Botting made two saves in the win.
