PORTLAND — Brian Dumoulin, a native of Biddeford, Maine and two-time Stanley Cup Champion with the Pittsburgh Penguins, is scheduled to make an appearance at Hadlock Field on Thursday, Aug. 24, when the Sea Dogs host the Binghamton Rumble Ponies at 7:00 PM. 

Dumoulin will throw out the ceremonial first pitch and will be available to sign free autographs from 7:00 to 8:00 PM.

Dumoulin was re-signed by the Pittsburgh Penguins for a six-year deal on July 24. Dumoulin was a standout at Biddeford High School and led the Boston College Eagles to the National Championship in 2012.

Dumoulin appeared in 70 games with the Stanley Cup Champion Pittsburgh Penguins this past season. He was originally selected by the Carolina Hurricanes, 51st overall in the 2009 NHL Entry Draft but was traded to the Penguins three months later. He has spent his entire career with the Penguins, which began in 2013. He picked up his first NHL point with an assist on December 16, 2013 against the Toronto Maple Leafs.
