WISCASSET — Join the Historic New England and the Wiscasset Public Library July 26, 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Castle Tucker for a morning of reading and activities based on the Wiscasset Public Library’s Summer Vacation reading theme, “Build a Better World,” with special emphasis on buildings and architecture. Meet in the Children’s Room at Wiscasset Public Library. Parents with children aged 5-12 welcome. Followed by Family Day: Lawn games and House tours, noon to 2 p.m. — take a tour of the house designed especially for families, play games, join in the sport of “lawn tennis,” read, and imagine what it was like to live in Victorian times.
