OLD TOWN (AP) — Officials say a rupture in a pressurized pipe caused a sulfuric acid vapor leak at a former paper mill in Old Town, Maine earlier this week.

Old Town officials say the incident happened late Monday night at a University of Maine-affiliated laboratory.

An industrial cleaning company was at the facility all-day on Tuesday and staff are reportedly now back to work at the facility.

No one was injured in the incident, university officials say.
