READFIELD (AP) — Fire officials in Maine are investigating a blaze that damaged a lake house.

Firefighters responded to a call about a house fire on Maranacook Lake in Readfield around 5:30 p.m. Tuesday.

Multiple fire departments responded to the blaze. Central Maine Power Co. also responded to the emergency.

Firefighters contained the fire by 6:45 p.m. and no injuries were reported.

An investigation is ongoing.
