BRUNSWICK — During Bowdoin Colleges 212th Commencement ceremony, held May 27, bachelor of arts degrees were awarded to the Class of 2017, comprising about 478 students from 39 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, and 20 other countries and territories.
Local graduates include: Ryan M. Ward of Biddeford, graduated cum laude with a major in government and legal studies and a minor in economics; Amanda W. Bennett, of Biddeford, graduated with a major in government and legal studies and philosophy; and Adam M. Glynn, of Biddeford, graduated magna cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa with a major in romance languages and literatures.
