
Born on Dec. 23, 1924 in Biddeford where he grew up on Pike Street as part of a family of 18 children, to Edmund and Aurore (Lamirande) Dube. In 1950, Noel married his wife of 66 years Ellen Gagnon of Camp Ellis Saco, who he met at Westbrook Skating Rink in Biddeford. They married at Our Lady of Victory Chapel in Camp Ellis on Aug. 12, 1950.
In his early years Noel delivered milk door-to-door and worked on a farm. He later worked at Clarks Lumber Box Company, Edwards Market in Biddeford, Saco Lowell and retiring from Portsmouth Naval Shipyard as a sand blaster.
He was one of the founders of the Camp Ellis Volunteer Fire Department, retiring as a captain. He and his wife Ellen were owners of Dube’s Bait and Tackle Shop in Camp Ellis where they would host fishing derbys. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. He loved attending his grandchildren’s sporting events as well as a big Patriots football fan.

Noel was a parishioner of the former Notre Dame deLordes Church in Saco.
He was predeceased by two sons, Charles and Richard N Dube of Saco, and 13 brothers and sisters.
Noel is survived by his wife Ellen; daughter Claire (Dube) Souliere and husband Michael, children Jonathan Souliere, Amy Souliere Sevigny; a son Edward Dube and his wife Sandra (Fortier) Dube, children Codie Dube and Jaimie Dube; a daughter Lucille (Dube) Seavey and husband Roger Seavey their daughter Susan-Caitlyn Seavey; a brother Robert Dube; three sisters, Laurette (Dube) Beaudion, Irene (Dube) Chretien, Cecile (Dube) Bisson and husband Rene Bisson all of Biddeford; also five great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Visiting Hours will be 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday, May 11, 2017, at Cote Funeral Home Chapel, 87 James St., Saco. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday, May 12, 2017, at Most Holy Trinity Church in Saco. Entombment will follow in Laurel Hill Cemetery in Saco.
