BIDDEFORD — Odette Marcella Dubuc, 89, died peacefully on May 2, 2017 at home with her husband of 68 years, Leo Raymond Dubuc at her side.
She is survived by Leo; her daughters Donna Lee Harmon and her husband James, and Leslie Ann Puchalski and her husband Paul. Odette was preceded in death by her parents Odious Perreault and Rebecca Daigle-Perreault who came from Canada to settle in Biddeford, Maine; her brother Leonard Perreault of Manchester, Connecticut; and sister, Estelle Palmitessa of East Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania.
She was a graduate of St. Joseph’s High School and a congregant at St. Joseph Church in Biddeford, Maine. Odette took great pride in raising her family while being a successful owner/operator of The Echo Motel & Cottages in Old Orchard Beach, Maine for 20 years.
She was an accomplished business person who was active at the Old Orchard Beach Chamber of Commerce, a member of Maine Innkeeper’s Association, and a corporator for the Biddeford Savings Bank. Odette was especially proud of her children’s successful business enterprises for which she lent invaluable guidance.
Burial arrangements will be private.
