GORHAM — Connor Harris and Ron Helderman won state titles on Saturday to highlight the University of Southern Maine men’s track and field team’s performance at the annual State of Maine Outdoor Track and Field Championships held at Bates College in Lewiston.
Freshman Nick Harriman of Lisbon posted a fifth-place finish in the 1,500- meter run for the Huskies, crossing the line in 4:09.62.
Southern Maine heads to Westfield, Mass., this upcoming Saturday to compete in the annual New England Alliance/Little East Conference/ MASCAC Championships.
