SANFORD — “DEAR” is a month-long celebration of reading to remind people of all ages to make reading a priority and fun activity in their lives.
Since this phrase was coined by in Ramona Quimby, 8, it is also a celebration of author Beverly Cleary, whose birthday is April 12.
Join the folks at Goodall Library in Sanford at 3:30 p.m. that day for birthday cake, stories, activity sheets and a great selection of books to check out.
