WATERBORO — Robert Paquette, 91, of Waterboro and formerly of Biddeford, died Sunday, Jan. 22, 2017, at his home.

He was born in Biddeford, Sept. 12, 1925, a son of Omer and Delvina (Binette) Paquette and was educated locally.

He had been employed as a superintendent of shoe factories in Portland, Scarborough, and Massachusetts. He was last employed with Pierce and Stevens Chemicals as a sales representative for eight years, retiring in 1984.

Robert was preceded in death by: his first wife, Yvonne (Dutremble) Paquette in 1965; his second wife, Yoko Guilbault Paquette in 1978; and his third wife Jeannette (Berard) Valliere Paquette in 2014, and also by her son, John Valliere.

He is survived by: a son, Carl Paquette and his wife, Kathryn, of Portland; grandchildren, Michael Paquette and his wife, Lisa, of Virginia, Michele and her husband, Matthew Underwood, of North Carolina, and Lisa Paquette and her wife, Alison Greelie of North Carolina; great-grandchild Elizabeth Paquette and her fiancée, Jon Williams; stepchildren, Elizabeth Loranger and her husband, Don, Carole Deschambeault and her husband, Paul, Kathleen Labelle, James Valliere and his wife, Nancy, Nancy Collette and her husband, Marc, Richard Valliere, and Patricia Kennedy and her husband, Curtis; step daughter-in-law Geraldine Valliere; numerous step-grandchildren; step-great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.

Visiting hours will be 9:30 to 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 28, 2017, at Hope Memorial Chapel 480 Elm St., Biddeford, ME 04005. A memorial service will follow at 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery in Biddeford. Arrangements are by Hope Memorial Chapel.
