She was born Aug. 31, 1965 in Biddeford as the daughter of Bert and Edith (Thomas) Smart.
Julie is predeceased by her father, Bert Smart. She leaves behind her mother, Edith Thomas of Maine; a sister, Sondra Smart of Massachusetts; and her brothers, David Smart and John Smart of Connecticut.
Julie also leaves behind her six children: Justin Toye of New Jersey, Bethany Spencer of Massachusetts, Ashley Toye of Florida, Kayla Howard of Rhode Island, Shania Howard of Rhode Island and Daya Howard of Maine and 2 1/2 grandchildren.
Information on Memorial Service for Julie will be in the Spring of 2017.
