Avery Pomerleau scored three goals as Cony/ Monmouth/ Hall- Dale skated to a 5-2 high school hockey victory over Brunswick on Tuesday at the Bank of America Ice Vault.
Michael Eno gave the Dragons (0-3-1) a 1-0 lead of f assists from Alex Labbe and Max Burtis.
But, Pomerleau tied the game late in the opening period, and Cam Wilson made it a 2-1 contest 1:28 into the second. Pomerleau finished of his hat trick with two goals 3:11 apart later in the middle frame for a 4-1 Rams lead.
Jared Hummer scored for Brunswick in the third period, with Jack St. Pierre picking up an assist.
Brunswick is slated to host Winslow on Thursday at 4 p.m.
Girls
YARMOUTH — Falmouth scored four goals in both the second and third periods en route to a 10- 2 win over Yarmouth/Freeport/Gray -New Gloucester on Tuesday at Travis Roy Arena.
The Yachtsmen grabbed a 2-0 lead in the opening period, and led 6-0 through two.
In the third period, Katie Clemmer scored two goals for the Clippers, who fell to 5- 4 and hosts St. Dom’s next Tuesday at 3:50 p.m.
Evelyn Clement paced Falmouth ( 7- 0) with six goals.
