Saint Joseph’s College celebrated the opening of the Baggot Street Cafe, its enhanced student life facilities on Tuesday, Oct. 4. Located on the second floor of Heffernan Hall, the new cafe offers students and members of the public a place to gather, enjoy a broad selection of food, watch widescreen TVs and play billiards. The cafe derives its name from Baggot Street, the Dublin, Ireland location where Catherine McAuley founded the first House of Mercy in 1827.
