We have known Bernard J. Broder (B.J.), Independent candidate for York County judge of probate, for more than 20 years. We regard B.J. as a trusted advisor for our estate and health care planning, and are truly honored to call him a friend as well as our attorney.

When Patti’s father was diagnosed with terminal cancer, we called on B.J. to assist her parents in executing their wills and advanced health care directives. B.J. demonstrated a keen understanding of the law while explaining the importance of developing a plan to ensure their wishes would be followed with respect to their estate and health care decisions.

B.J. showed great compassion toward them as an aging couple facing the final years of their lives together, and treated them with the utmost dignity and respect.

BJ has a multifaceted educational background and a broad range of experience in the law and in service to others, especially people in need. On Nov. 8, we encourage the people of York County to cast their votes for a judge of probate who has the experience, compassion and integrity to apply the law fairly to people from all walks of life who will appear before the probate court.
