OLD ORCHARD BEACH — The Old Orchard Beach field hockey team pushed past Wells 1-0 in overtime Tuesday afternoon.
After a tough, 60-minute battle in regulation, the two teams entered overtime tied 0-0.
It did not take long for OOB to score as Mariah Murphy netted the game-winner from Mikayla Grier just 40 seconds into the overtime period.
Both teams move to 3-8-1 on the season.

The Trojans battled past Wells in a tight 3-1 battle Tuesday evening.
After dropping the first set 25-11, the Warriors would take the second set 25-12 to tie the score. The Trojans would then catch fire and win the ensuing sets 25-21 and 25-10.
TA was led by Johnna Scott who recorded six aces and seven kills. Sarah Casey also added nine aces and 21 assists.
Despite the loss, a handful of Warriors also had impressive performances. Kait Schott had two aces and 31 assists, while Alyssa Loukola added six kills and two blocks. Megan Schneider also tallied nine kills and two blocks.

The Trojans lost their second-straight game in a 2-0 shutout versus South Portland on Tuesday. The Trojans have dropped their last two games after going undefeated in their first nine contests.
TA is now 7-2-2 on the year.
