With the election season upon us, I would like to take this opportunity to support Amy Volk’s re-election to the state Senate, representing District 30. Amy has always been willing and able to assist any activity or organization, donating her time, expertise, and efforts to the cause at hand. She has always been a positive person, willing to collaborate within a group or take the lead to get the job done.

During her two terms as a State House representative and then during this past term as our senator, Amy has been involved in various committees, most notably the passing of her bill to protect women that have fallen victim to sex trafficking.

Amy has also been a vocal advocate for Maine’s owners as Senate chair of the Committee for Labor, Commerce, Research and Economic Development. I appreciate the support that Amy gives to Maine’s small business community on a consistent basis.

I have enjoyed following Amy’s efforts on our behalf through her detailed newsletter and have been consistently impressed by the committees and legislation that she has been involved with. Amy is a hard worker who truly has her district’s best interest at heart. For these reasons, I would ask that you educate yourself as to Amy’s contributions and vote for Amy Volk for state Senate in November.
