
She was born Oct. 31, 1961, in Biddeford, the daughter of Patricia Grass. Carol graduated from Kennebunk High School at Adult Ed.
She had been married to Scott Welch, the love of her life, for 22 years. They were married Sept. 3, 1994.
She was a member of Olive Rebekah Lodge #21, Independent Order of Odd Fellows of Kennnebunk. She loved to read and make crafts.
She was preceded in death by: her grandparents, Carroll and Lillian Matthews; a daughter, Jennifer Lynn Labbe; and a granddaughter, Madison Wilcox.
She is survived by: her husband, Scott Welch; her mother and stepfather, Patricia and David Grass; two sons, Aaron Wilcox (Jennifer Bowden) and Ryan Wilcox (Kassandra Bolduc); a sister, Terri-Lynn White (William White); six grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Camron, Mya, Castor and Kia Wilcox, and Leah Bolduc; a special nephew, Cody White; and several sisters-in-law, brothers in law, aunts and uncles.
The family would like to thank York Hospital Hospice for the excellent care and the onocology department in Wells of the York Hospital Clinic.
A celebration of life will be held at 6 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 29, at Odd Fellows Hall, 31 Main St., Kennebunk. A luncheon will be held after the service and provided by the Rebekah and Odd Fellows.
