
The walk is scheduled for Oct. 2, with registration at 1:30 p.m., at West Kennebunk Methodist Church, 160 Alfred Road. The walk begins at 2 p.m. from the church and ends at the home site. The event also includes dinner, music and T-shirts for registrants.
The Cole Road build is Habitat for Humanity’s 27th home-building project, and takes place on a lot donated by the town of Kennebunk. Josh and Tahloni Yearwood and their two young sons have been chosen as the Habitat family for the new Cole Road home.
The “Walk to Raise the Roof ” includes dinner from 4:30-6:30 p.m. and music from 5-7 p.m. at West Kennebunk Methodist Church. For more information about registration and the event, visit habitatyorkcounty.org or call Habitat for Humanity at 985-4850.
